Loft Construction

Our beds are built to very strict guidelines which guarantee a safe sleeping environment for you or your children. As parents ourselves, we understand the importance of safety! We are constantly evaluating our designs to ensure that we produce only the strongest, most stable product possible.  Because we use an "L" shaped leg, our beds are more solid than a traditional store bought loft.  All of our kits are pre-assembled before they are delivered or picked up to insure that all of the parts fit correctly.

Our Original Lofts and 1 Legged Lofts are built using 1.5" thick "construction grade" lumber.  By the time they arrive at your home in either the kit form, or when we perform the installation of the bed for you, they are in considerably nicer shape. This is due to our pre-assembly routine.  All of the parts for your bed are first hand selected to ensure that each piece is top quality. The next steps begin once the materials arrive at our shop. We pass each piece through our drum sander to ensure a uniform thickness for all of the parts. The final step is hand sanding which smooths the wood and ensures that it is ready to accept the stain or paint of your choice. 

Our Premium Lofts are built using furniture grade solid Pine.  Each piece in these kits are subjected to the same rigorous prepping routine listed above (except for the surface planer).  

The Loft kits are easily assembled using only a hammer, a drill with a phillips head screw driver, and a ratchet with a 5/8" socket . *** We recommend the use of an 18-volt drill or a corded drill to drive the screws ***

Like our Loft Beds, our Platform Beds are built with your safety in mind. The beds are constructed of solid Pine boards which have been laminated (joined with glue & biscuits) together to form one solid 18" wide board. The platform itself is made from 3/4" thick particle board, and is trimmed in solid 1"x3" Pine. These kits utilize an interlocking joint to ensure that they can withstand years of use. The solid Pine in these kits is finish sanded, and is ready to accept the finish of your choice, be it stain, paint or tung oil.

The Platform Storage Bed kits are easily assembled using only a hammer, and a drill with a phillips head screw driver bit.

All of our Picnic Tables are built using "construction grade" lumber (the materials we use are 2x4 and 2x6 Douglas Fir). Like our other kits, we prep these materials to ensure that your new table is functional, safe, and beautiful to look at. All of the parts for your table are hand selected to ensure that each piece is top quality. The boards are all surfaced in the same manner as the Loft Bed kits to ensure a smooth, splinter free surface. While the underside of the table pieces are not planed, we do go over the surface with a sander to ensure that they are splinter free. These kits are ready to accept the finish of your choice.

The Picnic Table Kits are easily assembled using only a tape measure, a drill with a phillips head screw driver bit, hammer, and in some cases a ratchet and a 3/8" socket.

Custom Pieces

All of our custom orders come fully assembled.  Our initial price is based on using solid Yellow Pine for the build however we do have access to several different species of wood to fit both your budget and your imagination.  We use many different tried and true woodworking joints to build our pieces.  

Storage Shed Construction

Create the perfect storage solution for your backyard with an outdoor storage shed. Our storage sheds will provide the optimal place for all of your storage needs.  Our sheds are built using 2"x4" studs spaced 16" on center for strength.  We use 3/4" flooring, and T-1 11 pre-primed siding for the exterior walls.  Unlike our competition, our price includes 1 window, a large step, venting, 20 year shingles, a solid floor with treated 4x4 runners, and on-site assembly.  Because we pre-assemble our framing before we arrive, our sheds can normally be assembled in 1 day.  We offer several upgrades as well as a painting service for an additional charge.
