This picture shows the sliding doors of the storage headboard open revealing the shelf inside.  The doors of this headboard were made using 1/2” thick cabinet grade oak plywood (the customers planned to lean against it while reading in bed).  The rest of the headboard was made using 3/4” solid oak.
