This is a Twin loft with desk and a custom end bookcase that we built for a customer in San Francisco.  The loft features wrap around double guardrails as well as a 4ft x 2ft desk underneath.  The bookcase was designed so that shelves were accessible from both the underside and the front of the loft.  The loft and bookcase were made to the exact width of the room to capitalize on space.
